Drag/Drop File, shows up in Server folder, disappears when close/open folder
« on: December 16, 2007, 06:00:08 PM »

When I drag a file (one of many) to my folder on the server, it seems to show up.  If I close and re-open that folder the file is gone.  It does not happen on every file I try to tranfer.  The file(s) I am having trouble with seem to all be .png files out of iWeb.

Any thoughts?

I can't make any guesses without at least seeing an FTP Transcript of your upload, plus the subsequent folder re-open that doesn't show the uploaded file.

Do the above, then select 'Save FTP Transcript' from the File menu and send the resulting file to : support at yummysoftware dot com

If you use the Refresh option from the File menu (or the toolbar) does the item show up then?

For the record, it seems that JGrenier has a faulty server. On examination of the screenshots and the full transcript, there was no evidence of any mistakes on Yummy's part - the uploaded file was successfully uploaded, but it was simply there one minute and not the next. It just disappeared!

I am afraid that I have to agree with the server situation.  I recently tried to do it with another FTP product and it did the same thing.  There one minute gone the next.  Thanks for looking into this for me.  Also for the record, I really like the Yummy FTP software.
