If I want to use the built-in preview capability on any "hidden file" (.bashrc, .htaccess, etc.) I have to rename the file so that it is "normal" -- like 1.htaccess. Then I can preview the file, edit it in place and upload the changes. But then I have to rename the file back to just .htaccess.
Why can't hidden files be previewed? Obviously if I don't have Read access then that's okay, and if I don't have Write access I shouldn't be able to upload changes. But if I go through the steps above it proves that I have the permissions needed to do this.
My YummyFTP is at version 1.7.2.
