Problem updating to 1.7 Beta 17
« on: April 03, 2008, 11:16:08 AM »

Yummy FTP offered to update itself to Beta 17, and I opted to do so.  I'm not sure if it's an OS X problem, a Sparkle problem, or a Yummy FTP problem, but I can not successfully update.  I am running Leopard 10.5.2 as a non-admin user.  I authenticate with an admin user/password when requested by the updater, but an error code -50 is returned.  The worst thing about this problem is that, not only can I not update, but my existing version of Yummy FTP is automatically deleted and I must reinstall.  Installing from the downloaded .dmg works fine.

It's a known problem that has been fixed for the next update, which will be released shortly. For now just download from the latest version from web site:
