Drag & Drop Issue
« on: September 11, 2008, 11:38:49 AM »

First I would like to say kudos to the best FTP client available,

Ever since the last version change I have been having issues dragging & dropping files from local to server or vice versa.

It is sporadic and typically occurs when I have made numerous transfers.  This has never been an issue until this version.  Not sure what is causing it.

I am using the latest OSX and the latest Yummy.

(I also sent a service ticket, but I figured it might be a useful post to the public)

Here is a step by step of what I did before it didn't allow me to drag & drop:

1) opened the client to my server
2) deleted a directory on my local host
3) attempted to drag & drop from my local to my site server and it failed.  It will not allow any drag & drop.

I've responded to your 'service ticket' email already, but for what it's worth, there is only one person at Yummy Software - that's me - and it actually really doesn't help to have to respond twice to the same issue. Pick one or the other Smiley

First of all: which version is 'this version' ? The current version is 1.7.2 and there is a 1.7.3b1. Which version were you using previously?

Are you using List view or Column view?

Are you dropping into a sub-folder, or just into the root of the list?

I tried your steps over and over and can't repeat any problem. Can you repeat the problem with those steps?
