Hi,
I have a question. Is it possible to make a weekly sync. of my webserver to my local harddrive?
So synchronize the serv er with my mac?

Sure - just use the Synchronize window to setup an Update Mac Synch after navigating to the required Mac and Server directories, then use the Schedule option to repeat the Synch weekly.
Note that you'll need to keep Yummy open for the Schedule to run. If you set Yummy to open automatically at login then this will be all automatic. Use the Dock menu to set the Open At Login option.

isn't it possible to create a shortcut on my desktop and use automator to periodicly start this shortcut?

If you prefer that option, there is no reason not to use it. I was just suggesting the simplest solution.
