Neewbie here. Search function Not working.

I try and do a search and it shows all files. Am i missing something here. Just wondering if I have a seting wrong or something. Please help

It's a filter which narrows down the listing according to matches of what you type.

but if i search say leviathan on the server, it still shows all files. would it not just eliminate as i type? It is not doing that. i have 1586 files and it only deletes files for the first 3 letters down to 1356 and thats it. what am i missing here.

Yes it's meant to filter as you type...

I'm not getting what you're seeing. Can you send 2 screenshots, one with no search term entered and one with leviathan entered?
