Features Question
« on: January 20, 2009, 02:15:44 PM »

I just downloaded Yummy today and so far so good!

My primary objective is to automatically synch a remote ftp server that clients upload their files to and our local Mac based XServe.

I have successfull set up the synch and it is running every 15 minutes like clockwork, checking for new files and downloading as needed.

My question is...is there a way to have Yummy look at the remote server, say once a day, and delete files that over say a month old? Our ftp host charges us storage for files we have residing on it and it would save us in storage costs to have these files deleted on a regular basis and save us on time from having me do it manually.

Any thoughts?

You'd need to implement a mechanism using AppleScript, driving Yummy. However, currently I don't have a solution for this because there isn't a way to only delete items by age. This shouldn't be hard to add, so I'll see if I can get it into the next beta.
