Hello there, despite yummyftp being a nice ftp application for mac, i really miss one feature: the option to set some filetypes to be uploaded first. a fix is probably to add the single files in the right order by hand, but adding lots of folders like this at once really is a pain.

Why is this needed?

to set priorities on file upload? for example i have a project with a large amount of dir containing pictures. those dirs come with a textfile that list all the content and i want to have the textfile first in every dir. textfile/doc/some else file. so in settings i can define which filetype gets uploaded first per dir. i used that feature a lot back when i was on rushftp. but it looks like none of the macclients is able to use that.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear. I understand that you want certain file types to be uploaded before others. My question is why is it important to you? Why does it matter?

In my mentioned case i or the receiver of the files is able to take a look what is coming up. Handy if you want to link some stuff, that is not there already. Another option is for those .sfv files and similar. I sometimes need to upload them first, else the following files are not accepted..
