Store Passwords in another keychain?
« on: December 30, 2009, 11:19:26 AM »

hi,

i am using yummy ftp for a while now and really love it.

there is one thing, i do not understand and i am looking for an answer, a hint or help:

when i set up a new ftp account, i can store the password in my "normal" keychain. because this is not secure enough on my macbook (at least not for me), i move the password stored in my normal keychain into another keychain.
when i want to open the ftp account, i am asked to enter the password for my other keychain.
BUT, after i have entered the password for the other keychain, the password also appears in the normal keychain and can be accessed by the normal login password.

is there a way to store the ftp passwords in the other keychain and let yummy ftp always ask for the password of the other keychain - without copying the password to the normal keychain?

thanks for your help.

I think I see what's going wrong here... I'll fix it up for the next beta Smiley

 Cheesy

You're welcome to try, but I'm not expecting anything...  quite honestly, I think it's unlikely.
