when I ask for a new connection, the login windows presents itself with the latest login info, and the password field already filled in

it's not in my keychain

how do I stop this from happening?

The New Connection window remembers the last information you entered. This is cleared again when you restart Yummy, enter new details, or select recently used (or Bonjour) details from the dropdown menus.

Bear in mind that the New Connection window is designed for just that - new connections to servers you have never connected to before. To that end, keeping the connection details means not having to re-enter everything when you're trying to connect for the first time and don't get the details 100% correct.

If you visit the same server(s) frequently you should store the connection information in a Bookmark (use the Add Bookmark option from the Bookmarks menu). Then when you want to re-connect to your Bookmarked server simply select it from the Bookmarks menu.
