.The Auto-Update function seems to be different than most... in ways I seriously like. First, it provides a direct link to d/l the dmg with the update. Very good for those of us who LIKE to archive all updates.
Even better, have any of you installed an update, found issues, and had to spend a ton of time getting back to the previous version? Just happened to me, the 182b0 had a PPC crasher in it. Boom, instead of adding resources to the "last" version I had, or replacing it while NOT having it show in the trash, the "update" is a whole new application bundle. AND it first dumps the "current" version in the trash.
So oops, crasher, open trash, drag out previous version, 10 seconds, back in business.
None of this is worth a whole lot of marketing, but are among those tiny details that well written, user centric software tends to have. Apple could learn a bloody lesson here...
