This section explains how the AutoRoute feature works and gives step by step instructions to configure it.
On the basis that you have a copy of your server files located on your Mac, with the directory structures of both being identical, Yummy FTP can find a matching directory path on the server for any of the files or folders located within the local copy on your Mac.
When files/and or folders are dragged from your local copy to the Yummy FTP dock icon, each of your Bookmarks which has the AutoRoute feature enabled is scanned to try to find a match between the location of the dragged items and the local location as defined in the Bookmark. When a match is found, the dragged items are uploaded to the server connection that is defined in the Bookmark, with the appropriate destination path as governed by the location of the dragged items in the local directory hierarchy.
You will need to have a Bookmark saved for the server with which you would like AutoRoute enabled and a local copy of the server files and folders in a location of your choice on your Mac.
