There's unfortunately no way of fixing this at the moment - a manual rename is the solution, or perhaps an AppleScript to do it for you. It's a common problem, however, and one that I shall be addressing in a future update, although I can't say specifically when it might be implemented - it's not a 'quick fix'. Sorry!

Excellent - I'm glad you like it Smiley

I have to admit, once I implemented this and played around with it for a while, I did find that it's quite pleasant to use and almost, dare I say it,  'natural'

Since I already distributed the latest beta of 1.5.2 now, you'll know that I didn't include this feature. Yet ... Grin

I'm well aware of the deficiency -  it's probably the number one feature request at the moment. The good news is, I'm already working on it. The bad news is, it's not simple to add.

Watch this space ... Wink

I'll be sending around another beta build shortly, which will include this capability Smiley
51  Yummy FTP / Problems & Bugs / Re: Bookmark not opening on: October 16, 2006, 06:57:07 AM
Ok, thanks Smiley

I should perhaps clarify that <processid> should be replaced with the process id of Yummy FTP, which can be found by typing ps -ax in Terminal. This will list all the processes running on your Mac. On the right is the process name (or full path to it) and on the left side is the process id.
52  Yummy FTP / Problems & Bugs / Re: Bookmark not opening on: October 16, 2006, 02:54:07 AM
Odd. It shouldn't matter if a Bookmark is already in use or not... Yummy will open multiple connections using the same Bookmark. When this happens again, do lsof -p <processid> in the Terminal to see what files Yummy has open.

I have now added a new preference option to control the behavior of the Return key. Hope you like it! Smiley

Ok, so I added it  Grin

Ok, I'll send you the download link for the next beta build when it's ready and we'll take it from there. I've fixed a fair number of bugs since v1.5.1 so who knows... maybe 1.5.2 will do the trick. If not, then I'll investigate in other ways Wink

Thanks for sticking with me!

Yes, I'll send another beta around shortly.

The auto-rename after duplication is now also implemented Smiley
58  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Duplicating a file on: October 12, 2006, 07:45:26 PM
The rename / revert / update tweak has now been implemented.
59  Yummy FTP / Problems & Bugs / Re: Issue with PRET? Maybe? on: October 12, 2006, 10:15:03 AM
It might be that the encoding for this server isn't UTF-8 and as such it is causing a problem for Yummy.

Try setting the encoding to ISO 8859-1 in your Bookmark and see how it behaves after that.

If you still have difficulties then I'll really need to connect myself.

Hmm, the message shouldn't have any effect.

Would it be possible for me to connect to the server and see this for myself? I would most likely be able to solve the problem in a matter of minutes if I can see it first hand in my debugging environment. Email me at support at yummysoftware dot com

Thanks!
