Cannot Rename a File ....

I can't seem to rename a file that is sitting on a server. More specifically, I can't get the file name text to 'highlight' so that it can be edited. Mouse manipulation does noting.

Please advise.

1) Click the item to select it
2) Click on the text of the item and do not move the mouse
3) Editing will start
