Recursive Deletes
« on: June 08, 2007, 08:26:22 PM »

Hi, Jason.

Well, your software seems to be the only one that has been able to recursively delete a very deep file structure. The other clients I have tried hang at some point. But with your auto-reconnect feature, it has managed to get through them all.

But here is my question: why is that feature necessary? Why does the remote server stop responding with no seeming rhyme or reason?

Thanks, and I think I know which FTP software I'll be buying....

Hi Andre',

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Auto-reconnect is necessary because, like everything in this world, nothing is perfect. This applies to Internet connections and FTP server software too. With Yummy FTP, you don't need to worry about that.

Thanks,
Jason
