Jobs Queued Display Color ...
« on: June 09, 2007, 06:31:39 PM »

Yummy is great. I have a request  ...

The color of the jobs queued active display  is a bit hard to look at. Any chance of adding a user defined preference for this color?

If not, how about something that is a bit more consistent with the application?

Thanks again for this great tool ..

I'm not certain which part you mean. Are you referring to the iTunes-like 'status area' ?

Ok, understood. You're not being a pest Wink

No, there's no way to change the color - it's an image file which is being drawn.

Is it really the color which makes it hard for you? Prior to release, one user did suggest that the color should be more 'gray' than the yellow tint, but I stuck with the iTunes color. I could still be persuaded that I made the wrong choice Smiley

Other than that, do you have any suggestions to make the area more consistent with the application?

Exactly Jason. This is my opinion as well. I think a light gray would really look allot better. The yellow tint is a bit off -base.  In fact, the display area changes to the exact color that I am suggesting when the application is not active on the Mac OSX desktop -

Thanks again.

Is the "image file" in a "standard" kind of image format? And that way in the application bundle? Should be easy to "color" I would think...

Yes, you're right! But unfortunately, unlike all the other images in Yummy FTP, it just so happens that this paritcular image isn't a separate file. I'll change the color to be more gray-ish for the next beta and we'll see how everyone likes it Smiley
