TextMate Integration?
« on: February 06, 2008, 05:21:45 PM »

Still lovin' me some Yummy!

After reading a great deal of praise for TextMate, I'm giving it a test drive.  So far I'm really diggin' it.

This question may be better suited for the TextMate folks, but I'm wondering if there is a way to integrate the two apps?  When working in a TextMate Project view, is there a way to upload the files from there?

Anyone else use these two apps and want to share their workflows?

Remote editing doesn't interest me too much.  My files are done right the first time  So I don't find myself editing them a lot.  It's mostly that initial upload that concerns me.

Thanks.

You should take a look at TextMate bundles. These can use AppleScript to communicate with an external app, such as Yummy. I have some examples I can send you via email, although I don't think any of them specifically handle the project folder - rather they handle individual files. Still, it should give you a start, and if you sign up to the TextMate mailing list I'm sure someone will be able to help you with any questions specific to TextMate Smiley

Would you mind e-mailing me the Textmate bundles? I'm looking for a better way to integrate also.

Thanks.
