Snow Leopard 64-bit

So is Yummy going to be 64-bit with the new update? I tried to piggyback this on the Snow Leopard Compatible topic by edv but it wouldn't let me reply in that thread...

No, Yummy will not be 64bit.

And, yes the Cocoa rewrite of Finder introduced some interesting new bugs Smiley

I filed a bug report months ago, as you know it had been working just fine for several years - but not to worry - I rewrote some of my drag and drop code and it now works for Snow Leopard too in the next update, coming soon...

HI JD,

I found this post as I noticed drag and drop no longer working after recently updating to Snow Leopard ... curious when the new release with the fix will be provided?

Sorry if you've answered this elsewhere ...

cheers,

tj

Hey tj,

JD has fixed this bug in the latest beta.  You most likely have the last "final" version.  Go into Yummy's preferences and click on the Software Update tab and uncheck "Ignore Betas" then click the "Check Now" button.  It should prompt you with a download for the new version.  Make sure you click the link instead of letting it auto-install as there's a bug with Snow Leopard that will crash the installer.

Thanks, Jace. 100% correct.

Also, just to note, the new version has been undergoing heavy beta testing, which revealed a few issues. It's still on its way - Real Soon Now Wink
