Well, I guess the best thing is to have the synch report window as an option. The Growl report could remain independently controlled via the Growl preference pane.
I suppose the whole process is kind of redundant, as I really don't need a modal window telling me what Growl all ready did. It would be optimal to have an option similar to "preview report" called "only show sync errors" to disable the report.
Or, perhaps sticking the report in something similar to the Transcript pane would make the most sense.
Is it just the bounce which is a problem? I mean, if I disabled the bounce by adding a preference for it, the the message or report would still be displayed and need to be dismissed, so you'd need to switch apps, anyway.
Is there a way to tell YummyFTP not to duplicate messages that it sends to Growl? Unless there is an error when syncronizing, I really don't like to have to switch apps to stop the bouncing.
I got today an anonymous ftp link in an email something like ftp://last.snowflake.ch/fun Know what? Mark the link, drag it over the Yummy FTP icon in the dock and the server gets automatically connected! Fantastic!
