Bummer, didn't work that way for me.  I opened the one bookmark that I want the rest to look like, added something to the tool bar, clicked done.  Then opened another bookmark window and no change.

Yummy sends a small file to the server, notes the local time when the upload completed, then fetches a directory listing to find the timestamp of the uploaded file on the server. The time offset is the difference between the local time recorded and the reported timestamp of the file by the server. Does this explain anything?

Once the option is off, the toolbars should automatically sync when you change them - by dragging an item around, or whatever. That's certainly the behavior I'm seeing here.

The Bookmark-specific toolbar config is stored in the Bookmark file itself and is not editable by you. The global toolbar config is stored in Yummy's .plist file: com.yummysoftware.yummy-ftp.plist and this is located in your Preferences folder.

I have the exact same problem, whatever file/folder i try to modify permission on...
If i log to the server with the same user/group in ssh, i can chmod with no problems... Also, it works with another ftp client (rbrowser for instance).
That was with 1.5.0, will tell you soon how it goes with the latest release (1.5.2).

Bye.

Thanks JD, i've just installed it, and started a synchronize, i will tell you later how it goes.

But just for my information, how does Yummy negociate the time offset (in auto-mode)? Does the ftp server send a GMT info or something?
I ask this because when i set auto-offset, it reports a 2 hours offset, but the ftp server is in the same imezone as i am (GMT+1)... Strange...

Bye.

Once I turned it off, the toolbars stayed on each bookmarked window.  I guess my question is, do I need to go into each one an drag things around or is there a plist I can edit to make the bars look the same on each bookmark?

Thanks

Once that option is turned off, all your Bookmarks will the same toolbar configuration, so I'm not sure what you want to hack exactly? The option seems to be working as expected for me.

Anyway, this issue aside, I'm glad to hear Yummy did so well Smiley

The 1.5.2 update was released today Smiley

Let me know if you still have issues with the auto time offset feature - it works here, and I have no other reports of problems.

Ouch!

Yes, you're right - I've just fixed this and will post a revised 1.5.2 very shortly.

Thank you for reporting this - and please contact me via email ... if you're willing, I need you on my beta test team! Wink
