I have fixed alfardo's web site for him. The reasons his web site did not work were: 1) A copy of the web site was in a folder named httpdocs 2) Another copy of the web site was in a folder named index.html 3) All the files had names which ended in .php but needed to be .html 4) All the links within the files had to be changed from .php to .html 5) index.html had to be renamed to default.html 6) The web site files and folders needed to be moved to the login directory Once I fixed all those things it worked just fine -Jason

Yummy FTP / Problems & Bugs / Re: Puzzling schedule lapse

Thanks for the further information.
Although I can't be sure yet (I have to do more testing) I think there might be a certain time of day where synchronization is failing to notice changes, and this is related to the fact that the server is 8 hours ahead of you. The 16:02 update is the one where the sync is failing, and it just so happens that 8 hours ahead of this makes the server time as being the following day.
To see if this theory is correct, please leave Yummy running after the failure time to see if it starts uploading again at the one of the next updates.
Additionally, since the FTP Transcript is very useful, please select the 'Enable diagnostics' checkbox in your Synchronize options window. When the failure occurs, I'd like to see the transcript again. The diagnostics output included in the transcript will be useful.
As a side note, to adjust an existing schedule, simply click on the scheduled sync item in the queue drawer, then click the clock icon. This will show the schedule already set up.
Thanks!
-Jason

That's really odd, and something I've never had reported before.
I'm wondering if maybe there is a time zone difference between your Mac and your web site, and maybe this is coming into play here. Before you create and run your schedule next time, make sure you have the 'Automatically detect time offset' checkbox enabled and see if that makes any difference. Even if you think there shouldn't be a time zone difference, it won't hurt to enable this feature.
What exactly do you do when you 'reset the schedule'? Do you mean you re-configure the schedule, or do you completely cancel the synchronization and re-create it from scratch?
I'll see if I can reproduce this problem here in the meantime while I wait for your reply.

You mean Transmit?
Your vote for WebDAV support has been added to the list, which is growing by the day, as it happens. The more votes, the more likely I'll add it ...
Thanks for the feedback!

I assume you have a Schedule set to automatically Synchronize every 30 mins. In that case, it doesn't make much sense to bounce the dock icon - you're right! I'll disable it for this scenario in the next update -Jason

Thanks for the screenshots.
It looks like your server might not accept multiple simultaneous connections, which is what Yummy FTP uses by default. I suggest disabling this setting:
Preferences ... Transfers tab ... Allow multiple connections -> set to OFF
Click the Save button, then try your transfers again.

Don't worry. All you need to do is:
1) Download the trial of Yummy FTP from this web site, then install it on your Mac. 2) When you have started Yummy FTP, select 'Enter Serial Number' from the Yummy FTP menu. 3) Enter your registered Name and Serial Number into the boxes provided, then click the Verify button.
Your registered Name and Serial Number were sent to you via email directly after you purchased Yummy FTP.
If you can't find that email, or have lost it, since I already have your email address Dr Ofah, I'll send you a copy of the registration details, but for anyone else reading this, simply send an email to me at support at yummysoftware dot com and I'll look up your registration details.

Done! Click on the Yummy Software in the title banner at the top of the page to get you back to the main web site. The same thing works in the Wiki now too. Thanks to Joseph Jaramillo

Ok to give you rough guesstimate of when I think it will be ready for testing, I think "a few weeks" is a reasonable expectation. Thanks for the nice comments about Yummy's progress so far The latest build (in beta) includes some nice new things, which should at least keep you happy while I work on the Intel build...

No. When there's an Intel build ready for a test I'll post a message here to invite beta testing. For what it's worth, making an Intel version of Yummy isn't just a case of enabling a checkbox in Xcode... there's a lot more work involved. If Apple had stuck to their promised schedule of delivery for Intel Macs then I would have been ready, but as you know, they're six months ahead of schedule.
In any case, I'd already planned to release a new version of Yummy with new functionality and a few bug fixes in the near term. After that I will be concentrating on the Intel build.
As far as Rosetta is concerned, I'm interested to hear where you think there is a problem with Yummy FTP. From the feedback I've had from the two Yummy FTP users with Intel Macs (so far) there don't appear to be any problems, although a very slight transfer speed degradation on high speed networks was noted.

The History menu is supposed to show each folder you've visited either by double clicking (in List view) or CMD-down arrow (in Column view). If this menu isn't being populated, it could be that you're not using a Bookmark? The history gets saved in your Bookmark, so if you don't have one then the History will be lost when you close the connection window.
Anyhow, I'm glad to hear Yummy succeeded where others failed. That's one of Yummy's strong points - getting the job done, no matter what.

Hi Matt, Great to hear you're appreciating Yummy FTP I also love to get suggestions, so thank you! 1. Do you mean from the Back/Forward buttons? If so, it's just the way it is implemented in Yummy FTP at the moment. I have an existing 'to do' on my list to make column view behave more like the Finder in some respects, this included. 2. If you mean by holding the Alt key down so that you get the + cursor, then yes I agree that it would make sense to add that. Someone else asked for this recently, so that's two votes for it already. 3. FXP (File eXchange Protocol) to do true server to server is planned for the future, but it gets pretty messy when dealing with complete directory structures, which is the main reason it's not been implemented yet. As an interim solution I might be able to add FXP for single file transfers, though - it would certainly help with those huge files 4. Tabs are planned for the future, too -Jason
